Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about Attending BlackBerry Summit
How do I request a formal “Letter of Invitation” required to process my international travel visa application?
You can request a “Letter of Invitation" at the link below. A request can only be initiated once your registration is complete.
Request the LetterCan I register onsite?
Yes, however, we recommend registering in advance to guarantee entry as registration is now almost full. On-site registration opens at 8:00am ET.
How much does attending the BlackBerry Summit cost?
There is no registration fee for BlackBerry Summit.
Is it possible to have someone attend BlackBerry Summit in my place?
Yes, substitutions are permitted. Please email BlackBerry Events with the full name, corporate email address, company name and title of your substitute by October 10, 2023 for processing.
What if I have not received my confirmation e-mail?
Your registration must be completed and confirmed for the registration confirmation email to be sent. To ensure receipt of your BlackBerry Summit related emails, please add GlobalEvents@BlackBerry.com to your safe sender list and whitelist blackberry.com. If you are still unable to locate this information, please contact BlackBerry Events directly and include your full name, company, job title and the email address you used for registration.
Are attendees allowed to bring guests?
All participants must register individually and only those with confirmed registrations will be granted access.
What is the BlackBerry Summit security policy?
Identification badges will be provided to all attendees at check-in and government-issued photo identification may be requested during this process. Badges must be worn and visible at BlackBerry Summit during participation in the event. Please note that as a security measure, BlackBerry may be conducting random bag checks.
When will I receive my badge for the BlackBerry Summit?
BlackBerry Summit credentials are provided on-site upon check-in. Badges are non-transferable. Attendees should follow signage to the BlackBerry Summit Registration Desk at the Conrad New York Downtown.
What is the process for lost badges?
If you lose your badge onsite, it can be reprinted at no cost. To have it reprinted, simply go to the BlackBerry Summit Registration Desk at the Conrad New York Downtown and provide a valid government-issued photo ID.
Will Wi-Fi be available at the venue?
Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available for attendees.
Will meals be available at BlackBerry Summit?
Breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks, along with a hosted networking reception, are included for BlackBerry Summit attendees.
What if I have special dietary or assistance requirements?
During the registration process, please be sure to indicate any special dietary or assistance requirements or reach out to GlobalEvents@BlackBerry.com by October 6, 2023. Please note, requests after this date and onsite requests may not be able to be accommodated.
How can I request a meeting room during BlackBerry Summit?
No meeting rooms are available at the Conrad New York Downtown. All formal meeting space at the venue has been dedicated to event activities.

The Conrad New York Downtown offers valet parking for $80 for the day. Oversized vehicles are $95 for the day. The parking facilities are secured and covered. There are no in/out privileges. Electric vehicle charging is available at a nearby parking garage.
