CylanceMDR $1 Million Guarantee

Q: BlackBerry offers $1M breach prevention warranty for CylanceMDR customers. What are the details?

A: We are confident that we are applying all the right measures to protect our customers. To give them ultimate peace of mind, we also provide a guarantee of up to $1M to cover security incident costs for eligible CylanceMDR™ Advanced customers with our $1M guarantee, here’s what to expect: 

  • BlackBerry will cover / reimburse the eligible customer up to one million U.S. Dollars ($1,000,000 USD) in covered expenses that result from a security incident. Covered expenses include forensic investigation expenses, cyber extortion payments and post-security incident expenses.
  •  Eligibility:
    • Purchase CylanceMDR Advanced and CylancePROTECT® + CylanceOPTICS® subscription licenses for all endpoints in customer’s environment.
    • No minimum license requirements.
    • All endpoints must be protected by CylanceMDR Advanced and CylancePROTECT + CylanceOPTICS.
    • All endpoints must be configured by BlackBerry and remain in acceptable security configurations.
    • Customer must purchase incident response retainer services such that the customer has 120 hours of services available at all times (inclusive of the hours provided under CylanceMDR Advanced).
