CylanceMDR $1 Million Guarantee

A: We are confident that we are applying all the right measures to protect our customers. To give them ultimate peace of mind, we also provide a guarantee of up to $1M to cover security incident costs for eligible CylanceMDR^™ Advanced and CylanceMDR^™ Pro customers with our $1M guarantee, here’s what to expect: 

• BlackBerry will cover / reimburse the eligible customer up to one million U.S. Dollars ($1,000,000 USD) in covered expenses that result from a security incident. Covered expenses include forensic investigation expenses, cyber extortion payments and post-security incident expenses.

•  Eligibility:
  • Purchase CylanceMDR^™ Advanced or CylanceMDR^™ Pro for all endpoints in customer’s environment.
  • Purchase CylancePROTECT^® + CylanceOPTICS^® subscription licenses for all endpoints in customer’s environment.
  • All endpoints must be configured by BlackBerry and remain in acceptable security configurations and must be continuously protected by CylanceMDR Advanced or CylanceMDR Pro and CylancePROTECT + CylanceOPTICS.
  • No minimum license requirements.
  • Purchase incident response retainer services such that customer has 120 hours of services available at all times (inclusive of the hours provided under CylanceMDR Advanced or CylanceMDR Pro, as applicable).
